Mentor-Mentee Scheme
The Mentor-Mentee Scheme in Radhabai Kale Mahila Mahavidyalaya provides continuous academic, psychological, personal and financial support to the students through the mentoring process. The mentors in this committee also visit the homes of the mentees and discuss the problems of the students with their parents and guide them.
Objectives
- To foster a nurturing and supportive academic environment.
- To guide students in overcoming academic and personal challenges.
- To encourage active participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Role and Responsibility of Mentors
- Maintain the Mentee’s Profile (As Per Performa).
- Keep healthy relationship with Mentees.
- Encourage mentees to share issues and difficulties.
- Provide timely support and guidance to prevent their academic loss and health issues.
- Encourage them to participate in co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities.

Submit the report of monthly meeting (signed by mentor head/faculty in-charge) to member.

Strategies
- Organize four meetings in the year with your mentees.
- Conduct appropriate activities for their overall development.
- Conduct the Socio-Economic Survey of mentees.
- Visit to home of the mentees by the mentor to find out the problems.

Provide support and guidance for mentees. If required, they should be provided appropriate support services like:
- Financial help – Earn and Learn scheme, Students supports, Students Aid Fund
- Language difficulties – Language Competency Building Committee, Head Department of Language
- Health issues – Health Center & Counselling Cell
